Hopefully I'll make it to this one...The last one I missed cause of the shitty weather...So as long as the roads are clear and nobody changes the schedule at work, you can count me and FishinFeldie in...I'll know more the second week in January

Well it was good to get out for once despite not getting a single hit. A light breeze was coming from the East but otherwise a perfect day. There was an endangered species moving around asking for licenses. Glad almost everyone was compliant.

Only saw the CO's walking away with one rod. Hope it wasn't due to licenses not being readily available.

CO

Well here's your second place fish by none other than Brandon (bluetop) caught on a green spoon on the West side. This was the highlite of my day as when I saw Brandon land it I scooted over in the car to give him a lift back to the scales. I sure wished I had the video camera running, what a hoot! I've never seen anyone so giddy over a fish but he wrestled that thing all the way to the scales. Good thing we didn't get pulled over or we would have made the highlight reels on cops.

Well hopefully someone on the East side has a better picture than this one of the first place fish. None other than Bowen (live2fish). The club really either needs to buy a camera for the scales or someone will have to donate one. My old one eats batteries in seconds or I'd give it to them.

Here's the big presentation by Jay (fish4me)

And what's a get together with the Boys (and 2 girls :Gonefishing: ) without a group photo? Jay what are you doing to the winner?

And finally the outtakes narrated by fish4me. Good deal guys, see you in February I hope.

We really lucked out on the weather with mild temps & low easterly winds .The rainbows are still very scarce but there are some nice ones in there . The Co's were very busy checking for licences & didn't miss anyone on both sides . After the prizes & draws were finished we fed our faces with great hot dogs & coffee in the parking lot of the club house . We all had a great day and had a chance to chat with many people and catch a few nice trout.........Oh yes , the smerch caught his first trout using a minnow & float !It was about 7 lb+ smaller than Bowens brown . ........but I'm working on it....... :D

Congrats Bowen & Brandon & thanks to all who made this event happen . Kudos for helping fund the next Kid's Day ! :worthy:;)

Congrats to the winners---a couple nice fish there guys.

Can someone identify the gentleman kneeling in front of Smerch??----recognize him from my last visit----didnt know he was NFN

Pardon my part time old timers but I'm confused (doesnt take much ya know)---met fish4me once but the pic and caption dont ring any bells ( thought f4me was Jay---bluetop was Brandon) ;)

Smerch you dog---you're up at least three on me but when are you going to catch one worth a pic??? :worthy:
