Tom Chopin
http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmas...Access_20091005 Basically they could declare Waverly shoal or Myers reef a year round fish sancuary and cut off all fishing forever in that area if these are passed. knightfisher
''Flying in under the radar screen for most anglers, saltwater or fresh, President Obama created an Interagency Oceans Task Force with the objective of establishing a national policy to govern the management and use of our oceans, coasts and Great Lakes. Within this objective is the development of a framework for setting aside blocks of water for various uses. Never before have freshwater systems like the Great Lakes been discussed in the context of "spatial zoning." Yet it's there in black and white in the task force's interim report. It's the first real segue of federal no-fishing zones into the bass angler's living room.'' Sounds like Obama is moving towards the implementing of Agenda
smerchly
It looks like the honeymoon is over with Obam . He is no different than the others or others to be ......he will bow to the very rich & powerful who run this planet . But , there is hope . There is also huge sums of money derived from sport fishing which brings in huge tax revenues . When they get the true figures , they might reconsider ....... Tom Chopin
At least Bush and his Dad were fisherman so they were aware and sided with the angling community. This is were organizations such as OFAH and BASS are very valuable in making sure our voices are heard.
Dan Andrews
Yeah I think I'm going schizoid because this does sound like "agenda 21". The NGO's already have too much say in our lives and take the NPCA for example. Do you know they have several conservation areas not open to the public?
