Row dog Posted February 25, 2022 Report Share Posted February 25, 2022 Any gas motor over 10hp must have a registration number on bow of boat.Dont think motor size dictates Boat Smart license.My thoughts are any propelled boat with a gas motor must have a Boat Smart Licensed operator and I beleive that is also dependant on age of operator .Safety kits/items are required on all water craft SUP,Canoe etc. what has to be in the kit is dependant on size of craft and how it is propelled ie no fire ext. required in canoe but a 2hp tinner a must.
