Bass-turd
I've yet to land one, looking forward to my first opportunity, with the season opening again I'm probably going to give them a shot...... What's the best way to target them in december on the niagara?
Bass-turd
That's honestly the best advice, anytime I've targeted a particular species I inadvertently catch another, weird how that works
Tyler0420
Great looking pics. Only two I've caught there was on kwik fish. But can also fish bags or worms
jordanl
Won't see me complain if I have a laker on tge line. Small ones are spunky, big ones get those thick guts. Havnt landed many this year though. Only have 2 one being out of season rest of my fish have been steel.

Bass-turd
Is it better to use roe or minnows this time of year or do lures get the nod, or is bottom bouncing the trick? I'm not familiar with lakers at all really
jordanl
All methods work really. Just depends on the drift. But thats my opinion

RiverRuns
Why clowns? Nice going Alex.....btw. have a shave...lol. Many believe you should not take pics of out of season fish, even when (NOT IF) the fish is released.
tmate
Its not a belief. The MNR is able to fine people who post pictures of OOS fish.

smerchly
Anglers have had some good luck using a twister (pref .white) on a jig head . Choose a weight that will get the twister to bottom . I would try a 5" twister , depending on the clarity of the water .......(pike like this too) .
