Chrisb
Was out today and the water was showing 76ºF on the fish finder. Looked back at my logs and last year it was only 70ºF on this date. Fish Farmer

In fact it's colder right now than last year. Follow Buffalo's water temperature, which is taken 30ft down off buffalo. You can pull up the last 100 years, for each month. Maitland was 71 yesterday and 81 in the river/mud line out in the lake. crazy to seeing it go from 81-71 within a couple ft in the lake. dave524
Erie and Ontario both fluctuate greatly with wind direction , offshore colder , onshore warmer
Chrisb
A couple of days later the temp was showing as 70ºF. I realize the sun heats the surface. After the wind Thursday it is probably lower now.
smerchly
We are getting some heavy rain tonight , so that may influence the water temps . I am glad to see this rain as it is needed for obvious reasons as well as getting myself some worms tomorrow night after I cut the grass for easier pickings .
