I suggest you don't get caught standing on the bridge fishing as it will cost you a 125.00 fine if the ministry catches you, anywhere from the start of the bridge to the falls side is off limits.

That fine would not even be MNR specific ... NRP can enforce same with fishing too close to the dam. If you have to jump a barrier or fence ... trespassing.

Ya. As soon as they get into the piers they are making a run for the falls. I have seen salmon far upstream on some areas in late august ... not many as it is too soon (and it was during a hot august).
