  1. Finally got my first deer 45 minutes into the hunt Monday morning. I had 8 does hanging out infront of me but decided I wasn't going to tag out on a doe less than an hour into the season, especially because I was hunting alone and didn't want to drag it out by myself. Glad I waited, all of a sudden this buck comes out of the woods on a mission right after 2 of the does. Beautiful 9 pointer for the freezer

    Wow !

Yes, the fuel economy is less. 100 liters of propane gets less mileage than 100 liters of gas. But cost wise it is still significantly cheaper. $.80 a liter for propane, or $1.40 a liter for gas.

    Wow !

I bought a large GMC express van that runs on propane a few years back. Best decision I have made. Runs clean. Low compression so the engine lasts longer (just passed the 800,000km mark), and best of all its as cheap to run as my old Dodge caravan but twice as big inside. No real noticeable difference in power either
  4. Bass, and pike for sure. That end of the river is super deep in spots. Find the more shallow areas like under the QEW, or into Port Robinson and you will find bass and pike. I assume there is walleye in there as well but have never seen any on that end of the river myself
  5. That end of the river with the muddy water I find using a black or very dark lure works better. Can see it in the water like a shadow a little better than a bright color lure.
  6. It's exercise isn't it? Exercise is one reason to leave the house that is "permitted
  7. I got my boat batteries at pro battery shops on hwy 20 by the allanburg bridge. They were pretty knowledgeable in pointing me to the best battery for my needs. Maybe give them a call and see what they recommend. Pricing was decent as well.

see my post re your licence query.

  9. There are pike, walleye and bass at that end of the river by o'reillys bridge. There are certainly more on the other side of the aqua duct in welland (clearer water and more weeds) but you can find them where you are. The water on that end is pretty muddy. Try throwing black or dark color crank baits and spinners. (I like darker colours in dark water. Other people will say bright colours but I find the dark colours show through the muddy water better ). Good luck
  10. There is walleye, pike and bass in that end of the river for sure

I haven't decided, yet. I'm thinkin' $4000 (not sure) but I'm not selling it yet. Trailer is galvanized. The Lund is bulletproof. If I was on Erie in big water, I'd feel safer in the Lund than the Alumacraft I bought. I'd like to do some charters and the Lund just isn't wide or long enough to take out 2 guys That's why I bought the AC. The Pro-V has served me well. ALL the wood has been replaced. I replaced the transom, 3 years ago...you'd never know! I think I did a better job than the factory. The Lund aluminum gauge is heavier than the AC, too. I will miss it. I took off the MinnKota and am re-carpeting the wood up front/top. If you were interested, you could come by to take a look.

Thanks for touching base. I will keep it in mind. I wasn't sure what they were worth but know they are awesome boats. It may be a little out of my price range without a motor. That being said I am gonna give it some serious consideration.
