That spot looks rather familiar Bill! Glad you got out and hopefully no ticks!!
-
I'm surprised that there's still fish in the pond with those nasty things around...
-
I'd like to get out, we shall see. I rinsed some lures at 50 Point on Monday with nary a sniff.

Mechanical issues or just no time? This wind had definitely postponed perch at least another week. Will be mud again for a while
No time unfortunately. Hoping to make some time this year! I've already fished more this year than I did all of last year so that's a good start!

Hey Bill, please let me know if/when you go! I may have some time to spare.

I don't have any info on specs down here but did chase them in the spring north of Huntsville and west of Algonquin Park in the spring. We would fight off the black flies and fish the small streams and beaver ponds along the side of the back roads. Which reminds me, I have to do that again some day!!

Which resort? My wife and I were at Memories Flamenco Beach in December. I went for walks on the beach daily and saw pods of bonefish each time, some numbering at least 20. Only saw a couple of people fishing, none having any luck.

Looks like a great time Dave! Where in Cuba were you?

Damn that looks tender Bill! I get the rats around my place as well. It appears that they use my backyard only to get from one place to another as there is no food out there whatsoever. Apparently a neighbour a couple of houses over keeps his garbage outside which is likely the magnet for them. I caught another one last night, big guy. I'm up to 6 now this winter, almost enough to make a hat!!

Good luck to all who are able to get out this season. I won't be hunting at all this year but will definitely be watching for some pictures. Stay safe!!
