A group of us have a camp south of North Bay that we purchased in 1995. It started out as a trappers cabin back in the 1920's and has been added on to a couple of times.

You're 100% correct here Darryl! The inmates have rights you know! Many of them live better than people on the outside, expecialy the elderly. The inmates complain if they don't have their TV time, their internet time, their recreation time etc...they live in a Shangri La. If they don't have good food they go on a hunger strike. Jail isn't jail anymore. They go in for months (when the judges actually do their job), come out more knowledgeable in their area of expertise and a lot of the time they're jacked from their workout time. I like they way Sheriff Joe Arpaio did it in Arizona...

While we're on the topic of boat batteries, what is everyone's preferred brand of deep cycle? I currently have a Kirkland battery that I bought from Costco 3 years ago that has worked for me. I've heard good things about Interstate but never owned one.

I have a charger that you can select the charge rate. One of the selections is automatic, it will start the battery at a 15 amp rate and when it gets fully charged it will switch to a maintenance rate. Seems to work well in the year that I have had it.

The last couple of years (pre-COVID) we did at least an ice fishing venture in Dain City and a carp fish at Charles Daley. I know that there were many get togethers over the years.

I've only been out a couple of times and seen a big fat zero!

It looks like that "GT" knot is pretty much a uni with less turns on the main line which would make it less bulky. I wonder if it is as strong? There you go Bill, a little experiment for you today. I shall await the results...
