smerchly
Couldn't cast a line at Rennie Park yesterday as a thin layer of ice was present .....got my hopes up for a pre-Christmas ice fishing expedition . Added thought : I miss the great ice fishing we had at Jordan Harbour many years ago . We caught many big jumbo perch there ! It is much shallower now , low lake levels and lots of silt .
