  1. I've had my 170 going on 8 years without an issue...a touch of seafood as mentioned in every couple tanks...don't leave bad fuel in it ...change it every month or run it dry same as a small outboard
  2. I've wanted to get out but swamped with work and only have rain days off...I'm hearing 68 ft just west of abino is doing decent but u have to follow the schools around and be on them with spot lock to really get on them
  3. Is this a single shot or holds a couple??

  4. Anyone wanting a few dozen pannie sized shiners for free tomorrow morning pm me and il leave a pail under my boat in my driveway ...im in allanburg by the bridge on hwy 20...or they'll just go in my garden when I get home from work tomorrow ...just freshened the water and they're on a pump over night...msg me by 7 am..
  5. Ya I know I hunt the same way and have a couple older ones mounted..ya all thickets they came from...I don't even try entering in that crap lol..hunt the outer edge of it
  6. He's a beauty..did u score him and what wmu did u get him
  7. Guy Jake fro. Erie tracker shot a double drop line during shotgun this past season that looked like that
  8. There are big ones around ...I.only have permission for an 8 acre piece of which there's only half that bush ...they do pass through but this past season was really slow for bigger bucks..a few 8s but nothing like the past 4 or 5years...permission is hard to get..been trying for a while with no luck....
  9. I find the less intense winter we have the longer they hold...in.my area anyway
  10. Tank ..would be sweet to see him from the stand
  11. Nice land Tyler an outdoorsmans dream to have a chunk like that in a beautiful area...good times ahead! Let me know if you need help setting up a spot for me to hunt 😆 lol...I mean you ..joking..maybe lol..you'll love it there but alot of work ahead that's for sure.
  12. Ya those 3 n a halfs kick pretty good...so does my 300 win mag I use for moose
  13. Have not been but I was curious so I checked back in my phone and the earliest I've ever found a shed was February 16th but obviously they could drop much earlier...I feel like it's all based on the health and nutrition of the deers habitat along with how bad the winter has been....I feel like it may be a later drop but....I've had pics of them still holding mid March around niagara
  14. I don't have too much free time to target the Coyotes but if your hunting from the ground...take a spool of fishing line...tie it off to a coat hanger or type of spring and use any type furry stuffed child's or pet toy from the dollar store and give it small pulls to simulate wounded or dying prey while calling if you don't want to purchase an e caller....can have it any distance just can't pull more than a few inches....can also create a secure base that will not move but I just used a coat hanger...blasted one at 30 yards right in the face with my 12 guage and 00 buck
  15. Awesome thanks for sharing!
  16. I will only use any type of calls for a couple weeks but rattling lightly early season tends to work on younger bucks mostly but I also find that it will work in certain spots better than others..edge of thickets or terrain changes where their view may be compromised at bit and they'll get curious....I've seen some bigger ones come out of the thick stuff and just stand there looking for a while and then leave..this is where a decoy would work best as well...a doe bleet il use on morning hunts after making a bit of noise getting to my stand but I also walk slow and softly like a deer...so.many Factors can help or lessen your chances really with calling
  17. Coyotes everywhere in 88 and 89a ..this morning before first light I heard a few passing through ..then at 7:30 had one come in and eat apples and I didn't wanna shoot it in hopes of still seeing a deer before 9am...then at 830 another one came through and I had enough at this point so I gave him a shwacker to the throat lol...also is a pic of a 6 pack of coywolfs in 89a...pretty crazy
  18. Ya it's been a rough go for me this season...I was swamped with work and made it out 3 times in October..November 5th I shot a small racked 8 point with a large body but it was a 32 yard shot with my compound...the deer dropped to load its legs to bound away and nailed him in the front shoulder with an expandable broadhead and got 3 inches penetration...found arrow snapped off and 5 days later got a pic of the deer back on my camera...he's limping now pretty good I hope he makes it...I would've liked to have a couple wintery sits myself in December but not looking good ...pic of wounded buck and one of 3 I'm after...
  19. I just bought another 2 pack at peavey Mart the 14 mps were on for 100...that was weeks ago though
  20. I buy a 2 pack of the cheapest brand name cameras on sale with SD cards and hope for the best every year...I.have several muddys,Moultrie, stealth and others mostly 12 or 14 mp ...they do the trick...u have to keep the contacts clean in battery compartment though a little rust corrosion or even spider webs anything...they stop working properly...I use two in every area I scout and find the most dominant trails being used and put them 40 yards apart on opposite sides of the trail....and ya at some point it will all work out the way it should and pattern a certain deer coming past your spot ...but I'm betting it doesn't happen too often...this is canada..we get 1 buck tag by law....u either wait for the one you want or ya shoot your meat deer and be done...get your extra doe tag whatever...but in the u.s...these guys get multiple tags and have giant farms with plenty of huge deer they take inventory of and start their hit list...cameras more valuable then probably...out of the few nicer deer I've shot over the years I didn't have pics of them they just showed up on the property.i like to prolong my season now hunting bigger deer till I get one ..if not by Christmas il shoot anything....to each their own.sorry for the rant! Good luck fellas!
