  1. by base of distributor they mean underneath the disributor cap. This of corse is the top of the disributor.DNORTON has point ignition hence no pickup coil or module. Actually the pick up coil would act as  the points did and  the module acted as the condenser/capacitor.Today we have a computer to replace all of these lol

I had a hard time with an old car trying to get it to fire up ....turned out to be the capacitor . Some were faulty from the get go .

Another time it was a small coil near the bottom of the distributor shaft ....Guy in the GM dynamometer engine testing room put me onto it....

wonder what coil that would be thought jus a gear at bottom driven off camshaft ?

    Gas is a f***ing scam.

Last night I went out to fill my vehicle up and every station in St. Catharines instantly upped their price as soon as the first reports of a bomb hitting the ground.

Every station last night jumped 10 to 15 cents.  How the f**k is this not price gouging?

Did every station just receive more expensive gas?  No.  Just a government approved ability to rape your wallet.  Gas price goes up, government gets more money at all areas (sales, tax on businesses at year end, etc).

The price of tacos doesn't go up on Taco Tuesday.  You can argue supply and demand, but in that theory when a station has their tanks full, the price should be the lowest possible.

gas buddy st.catharines 1.49 avg almost same in Toronto / hamilton

  4. Any gas motor over 10hp must have a registration number on bow of boat.Dont think motor size dictates Boat Smart license. My thoughts are any propelled boat with a gas motor must have a Boat Smart Licensed operator and  I beleive that is also dependant on age of operator .Safety kits/items are required on all water craft SUP,Canoe etc. what has to be in the kit is dependant on size of craft and how it is propelled ie no fire ext. required in canoe but a 2hp tinner a must.

  5. Car batteries usually only have a 5-6 yr life(reason for your 5yr pro rated warranty) . In North America there are only 2-3 wet acid battery manufacturers( East Penn probably the largest) whom private label for different wholesale /retailers.

  6. I found dr.very insensitive “just another stupid fisherman” .most painful was when they cleaned area before the shot with a cotton swab, that tended to snag the 2 remaining hooks on treble, pic is another instance.then the freezing 1 shot and wrapped the old skate lace around the base of hook gave her some slack and yanked her out.A quick hard pull is the trick. The pic was last year tying some pickerel rigs and as you ,snagged me.Aware of wait times at hospital I took paracord fastened a loop on wall put shank threw loop down to the penetration and after 5min and growing big enough kahonas I snapped hand back voila.Play with the bull ,get the horns.  But that is best way to remove hook kinda like pulling a tooth with string and a door😀😀

  7. Had a hook removed in Parry Sound the operating tools came in on a silver tray and consisted of Channelock linesman,Channelock needle nose,Channelock side cutters and 1/2 a skate lace. Had the hook out fast but had to wait for Tetnus reaction from needle.I asked Dr. if it was Bobby`s skate lace he just grimmaced
