  1. Hey all, just wondering how many here target pike.
90 % of my fishing is hunting down these toothie critters.
I do enjoy fishing for carp, cats, eyes and bass etc, but pike
and musky are my target fish. When you hook into one, you
know you usually  have a fish 20 inches or more at the end of
the line. The fight is usually intense during the initial hookup.

It was a slow carp day today ....visited a few spots before dropping my line in and found the berm at CDP gone !  It was flooded over and only two small trees  still standing  until they get swept away ,,,,a BIG difference in the "jungle" of trees & shrubs there a few years ago .

I used can corn on a hair rig with 1 oz,sinker on a 3 way rig. & corn/oats for chum.  After 2.5 hrs with no bites , I decided to pack up , and as I was getting ready to reel in I noticed a light bite on the rod.  I picked up the rod & noticed the line was very slack ....reel in the slack & felt some 'movement ,so I set the hook and off it went !  After a nice scrap I landed a carp just over 20 lbs. Then I left , with a smile !    B)

,,,a shot of the washed out berm at CDP....

Food for thought.  An EV because of the battery often weighs much more than a similar sized vehicle, so which is going to put more wear and tear on the road.

I would be more concerned about our health....

EMF Radiation Risks from Electric Cars

You cannot see the EMF radiation emitted by electronic devices, but repercussions in intense or long doses include cell damage, DNA fragmentation, fertility problems, and neurological effects that can lead to health disorders and behavioral issues.

    • Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) EMF radiation emits from all electronic devices, originating from their batteries, parts and internal circuitry.
    • Radio Frequency (RF) EMF radiation, emits only from devices that have wireless connections. Think cellular phone service, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

ELF radiation emits at a lower frequency than RF radiation, but both can cause biological effects in humans and the environment.

The closer you are to the transmitter or battery in an electronic device, the more you are exposed to this radiation, and the more at risk you are of developing adverse health effects.

With electric cars, a big battery is being used close to your body, with electronic circuitry running around the edge of the cabin. This can expose you to increased amounts of ELF radiation.

Electric cars need to be plugged in and charged, just like any other rechargeable battery powered device. When charging, the EMF radiation emitted from the connection point is greater than the outdated ICNIRP standards of radiation levels
