There are a few anglers out on the Grand in inflatable dinghies every spring.

So much for doing any fishing. This weather has just been god awful. I had hoped to take a break from tackle making to do a little fishing with George. Rain, high water and mud. Then sun, more rain, and repeat. Maybe we'll try to play hookie on Tuesday.

Two great local tackle shows and swaps coming up. Sunday, March 10th. you have 2 choices. Ft Erie at the Leisureplex is the Niagara Outdoor Show. Second option at the Ancaster Fairground will be the Hamilton Bassmasters show and swap. Ugliboys Baits will be present at both. Not sure hoe we are going to clone ourselves🙃.

We will be at the show with bells on. Of course, will be fashionable as always😛

I have not noticed much of in the past Bruce , just saw the 'bull rushes' at most spots like Jordan Harbour . These tall grasses are everywhere now , saw thick growths along the 12 Mile valley at the foot of the slopes where water runs off . They are thick beside the sidewalk just down the street north of my house at the bottom of the short hill . I had a small bunch growing in my front yard for shading a window & what a chore digging them out with roots 3 feet deep. ( pick axe )
A lot along the creeks and roadside ditches through Lincoln, West Lincoln, and through the Grand R. and Welland R. watersheds

Phragmite grasses have been around a long time. Nothing new in this. Same with loosestrife, polkweed, yellow iris, rock snot, etc... Once established you cannot turn back the clock.

I have been using the blocker for years , & no prob.when I had windows 7 & Google Chrome . Now I have a newer PC with W-10 & a new 24" monitor and G. Chrome
We like watching You Tube , from fishing to music vids . Lately I have been getting a pop up from YouTube saying "You cannot use an ad blocker on You Tube "
After a few of these pop ups I deleted the blocker and sure enough the ads started . I don't mind a quick ad at the beginning of a music video but when they
put their garbage ads on in the middle of a playing song ?? I put the blocker back but will they block me from using their 'service' eventually ?
Any other options to play YT music ? When I watch TV I mute every ad or switch channels for a few minutes ....remotes are cool !
They want you to buy their premium service

The worst part is the dampness. It wreaks havoc on the arthritis.

And that is why I buy most of my bulk produce at a real farmer's market. Although in the fall bushel prices for tomatoes and peppers are comparable at times. Even at the farmers market you have to be watchful for the jobbers and cons

This year has been soooo hectic. I am still swamped with orders for jigs, sinkers, and lures. I have to force myself to take a few hours to relax and go fishing. At this time of year the bite is fantastic. Would be foolish to lose the opportunity to enjoy while I can.

Boy, how I wish. Usually I run up early May, but I am swamped.
