Modern medicine want to collect money and write scripts. Every time there is a new med, I get a call from the clinic. Goes like this. "We like you to come in for a talk about a new "product/med" that shows real promise/benefits/improvements from the medications you are on now" You all know the ones. They spend millions on advertising campaigns, and probably just as much in kickbacks.

Weather has benn up and down like a yo-yo since October.

Couple years back over 100 got stranded out from Ohio.  A semi- regular occurence.

Sometimes too busy so it gets in the way of fishing.

We started off with 2 molds and some harnesses. Had our troubles along the way, but we are still here. Who says the little guys don't count. Check out the video.

I have a large 29" blower and the show was 6" over the top of the blower . The north wind blew snow from the roof and created 3' drifts . I was out for 2 hrs. and used a full tank of gas in one session . Now  it's time to get 2 ft. of snow off the vehicles and shovel that away !   

Bruce , a few 40 lb. bags of ice salt spread over your snow bank should take care of it !  I keep a 40 pounder in my van .  

Snow banks are as tall as me now.

Would take more than a couple of 40lb bags.

I'll do it for $39 Dan .....save a buck ! haha   I'll be out there shortly with my very loud snowblower with ear muffs on !  I'll help the neighbours that have breathing difficulties as well . Three of us pitch in the help clear their sidewalks and driveways . The snow plows give us more to do AFTER we cleared the snow .lol ...all part of being Canadian !

We have nowheres to put the snow in our driveway. We have to push it out to the street, just so the plow can push it back in the driveway

Another 2 days to dig out I guess.

In the course of a year the family goes through 50-60. We fish a lot of tangled structure and timber. Especially for crappie.

I make a few hundred every year.

I know that we are in the middle of winter, but it won't be long before I'll be chasing spring pannies.  Gotta rebuild my float supply.

That's why we take it in shifts.  Still have the back 1/2 of our driveway to clear, but no one is hurting bad from the workout. The snowpile extends 6' into the street.

We are finally dug out to the road. Our problem was a lack of dumping space for the snow.

We got a solid 24" or more. I'm just doing so much shovelling at a time. I don't mind, but the joints aren't what they were.  Should be finished some time tomorrow.

Sure looks like a good old fashioned winter at the moment.

The clan is not keen on me going without a buddy. Especially solo trips up North.
