When I bought my yak I wish I had enough money free to buy the peddle type like u guys have! My Wilderness System Rage is nice, but peddling would be a lot easier for fishing than paddling!

If I had a boat like that I would have it at Sugarloaf in Pt. Colborne so I could fish Erie for pickerel every day!!

After I retired we lived near Midland for 8 years. At first our kids all liked bringing their families up to visit because we were just a 10 minute walk to the neighbourhood beach, but by 2007 they didn’t want to come up much because the 400 traffic was so bad every weekend!! I still remember in 2008 that the 400 highway was listed as the highest volume traffic highway in North America, even outdoing the 12-lane Los Angeles freeway!!

Thanks Digger! That means I wont lose out on my hunt, since I do hunt alone on a 320 acre family farm, and you can’t “social distance” any better than that!

Just great...if we follow Ford’s lockdown rule we lose out on the first 1/3 of the spring turkey season! Aaaargh!!!

Free gas on Hwy 20 east of Fonthill is where I always go. Costco is a great price, but Im not carrying a propane tank that far inside my vehicle just to save a few bucks. There is a place in Welland on. Prince Charles and West Main, but he is more expensive than Free.

Trumps lawyers had nothing but B S. If u think they did well, then u have a warped MAGA sense of reality! Chris, its not a 365 day plan - you buy the amount you want to put on the card, and THAT AMOUNT IS GOOD FOR 365 DAYS!
I usually buy $100 at a time because quite often they will offer an additional $25 bonus for spending $100.
I just keep checking my 7/11 account on a regular basis to see the amount I have left, and top it up whenever it gets low.

And yes you have it correct...u put money on your account, and they deduct per minute for your usage.

I added a data plan to my phone last year ($10 per month fee) because I was texting a lot to family, and it was using up a lot of my money...now the monthly data plan covers my texting costs.
if you plan on texting a lot the data plan is worth getting...otherwise I wouldnt bother getting it

Back out this morning again w son and grandson. grandson was the only lucky one if us - he got 2; biggest was 3.1 Lbs.

My son and I finally got out this morning for the first time. Launched at Pt. Abino at 6:30 and fished till 9:00. We caught 4 bass out from the Buffalo Canoe Club in about 10 ft. Of water - the biggest was 3,3 Lbs.

We are trying to get information from the government, but as of now there have been no fishing or hunting season closures in the province.
The province’s mandate for closures of outdoor recreational amenities across the province has closed municipal boat launches, dock, and piers.
We are working on news stories about these issues that will hopefully be on our website later today, and updates as new info is available

Gunner, after reading your response to my post, I just wanted to tell you that I emailed Ray Blades, the editor of the OOD magazine, to ask if he has heard anything re the spring turkey hunt, and weather we will be able to hunt this spring with all the gov't restrictions being put in place.
I'll keep you posted on any reply that I get.

A BIG thank you for all your work on ths website over the years.
While I haven't been a prolific poster, I've really enjoyed reading about everyone's hunting and fishing excoursions over the years, and especially learning about local fishing. I'm glad Tyler is going to continue with the site. I was sad to think we would lose such a valuable local resource after all your years work.
