    Nice pike. Catching carp in a yak or canoe can be a blast. Years back Smerch and I were fishing Jordan and he hooked into a carp and it gave a good fight and pulled the canoe around for a while.

    No rain for a while Bill, but when it does keep an eye on your rear doors. Sometimes the water gets by the caulk I put in mine to handle the water, but most times not.

    Exactly as I told you where the water was coming from the other day I was down. I should of mentioned Y.T. so you could see others have the same experience. Happened to my astro van many years ago. I just put a small bead of caulking at the base of the barn doors and the water never entered past that point.

    The smerch, myself and others fought city hall and the rowing club to excavate that area and put in a permanent dock there. It will be back.

    Nice bird. How did you remove all the feathers ?

    There was a video a while back that showed a heron eating a ground hog in the middle of some field. I could not believe what I was seeing. Takes away the affinity I have for them to a degree. Thinking they munch on fish and such is not the case.....

    Our friend Joe, loves carp fishing as well and has every type of bait that can be bought. He has used the tiger nuts as well, but has yet to catch a carp on them. What kind of chum would one use for tiger nuts ? Joe uses a corn, cream corn and oat mix but as stated no luck.

    We all love music. It communicates to us. What I like, someone else may not favor. I am sure we all have tens upon tens of songs we love/like. I like all varieties from Soft rock to hard, from psychedelic to ballads, all kinds in-between.     You gave me one of those a few years back Bill, and I caught a nice pike at Gibby on it. Not my usual choice, but that one produced, just a different kind of presentation that I need more practice on.

    Totally correct there Bubba. These dogs are extremely high energy. April is my third Malinois and very demanding for sport and activity.
