  1. Crazy video.
always wear a life jacket. You can’t even tell you’re wearing the new ones.

I don’t know what these guys were thinking. Get flipped in the boat or jump out and swim to shore.  Easy decision

I paid  $150 for the canoe brand new but it was a "second" as the transom is not level which doesn't change how it operates .

I also used an extension cable to set the heavy battery nearer to the front . For the amount of time I use the canoe I may just get a Wally deep cycle battery.

When I launch at Jordan harbour I only need to carry (or slide) the battery 10 ft.to set it in the canoe . I used a small dolly to take that battery down the dock 50' to my boat at Quinte . It folds up and can be carried in the canoe when needed. I'll decide soon when the water clear up .

Smerch check out grimsby tackle or bass pro maybe. They should have some lithium batteries. I’d buy from a shop so if anything happens you can maybe return it.
the thing about buying online is you can never trust the reviews and knock off brands are usually garbage.

Mostly would like to see how well it fits into the bed.

Any kind of boat really. Length would be 12' - 14'

Could be slim profile like kayak / canoe or squarish like a jon boat / cartopper aluminum.

Maybe still need the bed extender from the hitch for extra security.

A bed extender would be good. I don’t use one but probably should. My yak hangs out roughly 5’.

I've wanted to get out but swamped with work and only have rain days off...I'm hearing 68 ft just west of abino is doing decent but u have to follow the schools around and be on them with spot lock to really get on them

Wish I could get the kayak out there.
good luck when you get out.

Okay, winter is now officially over because I just had to mow my lawn!

Parts of it were already 5” high, and I haven’t even fertilized yet.

I’m with you gene except some of my grass is 10” high. Getting cut in the next few days depending on rain.

I go there to browse and pickup things we use regularly from coffee filters ,to tuna . They need to change the name to the Buck25 Store , not much to buy for a buck now. .

I buy suet packs for the birdies & they were $1.25 , now $1.75 , but still the best place to stretch a buck.

As I passed by the tools & garden supplies I saw some new fishing stuff, like 7" fishing knives , line , lures ,ect . So I  spotted some Trilene 30# fishing line for $5 .

I thought it might be good for big cats or carp ....but when I took it from the package it was very stiff ....maybe should be expected with 30# mono .

It's over 200 yds . but I'm not sure I'll use it . Maybe it's more suitable for a rigger reel ? Any ideas where to use this line ?

Good snag leader for fishing those steep rocky drop offs.

If a guy wanted to pick a bunch off his lawn to keep around, say a 5-6 dozen,  how would you keep them?

Keep them in the fridge but make sure not to tip them over. My gf didn’t like them crawling around the fridge.
    heat/sun are their worst enemy.

They were in a small foam box that are sold in bait shops

There’s a guy by me that sells worms 3dz/$10

bring back ten worm containers and get a free dozen. I like supporting the small guys even though I could pick my own in no time.

Revisiting this topic as I have run into some programs that require a cell phone to activate them.

What is the cheapest way to get a phone? I just need minimal data and texting to get the security codes when logging in.

What plans are recommended that work everywhere? I know freedom does not work in an area I attend often(rural Fenwick). I also see my neighbours along north shore Erie walking north down the driveway to get signal.

Can you get the security codes through email?

Next time I see it I’ll say something to them. Some people might just not know even though they should.

Maybe I’ll leave them a nice note on their vehicle.

Does the Six Nations of the Grand River have special nibs on the fishing regs ?

I believe natives can keep fish out of season and don’t need a license.
I was making a u-turn and seen (natives) walking back to their vehicle with a walleye. I asked them how fishing was and said “keeping walleye out of season eh”. I continued on my way.
then later in the day I watched non natives fishing jigs and throw a walleye on shore.

Before reporting, you'd have to have a date, time, location, the offense,  suspect(s) description and the vehicle model with license plate # to make it legit.

It depends how badly you want to serve justice. Most likely why most don't want to bother. The hassle and possible escalation from the confrontation.

Did you get enough information on the suspect?

No I just left them alone. They were on the far side of the river. They kept one.
Would be nice if MNR would keep an eye on that spot but I’ve never seen MNR in brantford besides opening day for trout on a small creek.
