  1. Even if a CO from MNR couldn't make it out, OPP would be next in line to investigate.
  2. Before reporting, you'd have to have a date, time, location, the offense, suspect(s) description and the vehicle model with license plate # to make it legit. It depends how badly you want to serve justice. Most likely why most don't want to bother. The hassle and possible escalation from the confrontation.
  3. Did you get enough information on the suspect?
  4. I don't have any children, but always look back and was grateful when my father took my brother and I out fishing. This was usually a Sunday thing and trips "Up North" for long weekends and summer vacations.
  5. Any highlights to share about the what's on the agenda for the year? Maybe if people knew what's in the meeting, it may encourage them to show and possibly join?
  6. It was an FYI to Smerchly about walleye not being open on Lake O until 1st Saturday in May, but open year round on Lake E.
  7. On another similar note, never open emails you are not familiar with. Look at the receipients....most likely a variation of your email. If something comes in that may seem legit (they're sneaky like this), NEVER click their links. In the past year I've received a dozen on so similar emails claim they've hacked my computer and have all my audio and video recordings of myself on pr0n sites. They want a typical 1200 in Bitcoin. Jokes on them as I don't have a camera or microphone on my computer. Just report anything suspicious as PHISHING. I doubt anything is done except blocking that one email. Have two emails. One for junk stuff (like forums, subscribing to newsletters, buy//sell sites, etc) and one for legit/admin stuff that's important enough to attach your real name to. My legit one never has had junk emails and such.
  8. NEVER call the number that claims it will help you. 99.9% likely its the cause of the problem. If in doubt, look up the number online (another computer or cell phone). See what comes up.
  9. Interesting behavior and observations. Some things to note when not catching. (even though they may be looking at your bait)
  10. Maybe more so in a bottom bouncing situation they will. MAYBE from a boat where the drift is controlled it can be better. That's why I don't use them. Even with good swivels it won't help if it tangles/twists upon itself during the drift. Could be the wings, could from not true center lined? I notice this with corkies and streamers as well. Just worse with winged corkies.
  11. They like twisting up line.
  12. Yeah. I would not be surprised if city council will suggest a toll booth to go through Lakeside Parking to get to Main St. I'll bet that whoever came up with such ideas to improve Port Dalhousie are from Toronto area.
  13. It's that much of a shopping destination? So it would become a dead end? That doesn't make sense. That four way stop is a bottle neck as it is, coupled with that traffic light when it is red. I remember during 1998 I avoided the area when the last World Rowing Championships were here.
  14. Watched a video of it being demonstrated. Also a link that explains it. The shrinking mill optical illusion in Port Colborne, explained | National Post
  15. From shore its tougher for sure, unless you are in a good spot that they travel through. A boat/sonar will help find them quicker and you fish on top of them. From shore you have to work the depths with more limitations. Sit and wait with bait or cast lures. I'm a shore guy, so it would take a lot of outings to determine the best spot from shore.
  16. Being in the right spot with fish will be most important. Fine tuning presentation is next. Use the baits you are confident in. Don't get hung up on colour.
  17. Rumours of coyote in Grantham/Facer area according to neighbor who walks their small dog around the big block there.
  18. Best thing locally now is for trout maybe pike, which I don't target.
  19. I only seem to get the ice fishing urge if we have a good start in late December until March. The on and off temps and uncertainty is better focused on open water trout.
  20. TO loves to receive illegals, but none will welcome any into their own large homes. As for charity.....I'd never blindly hand over a large sum of money. But rather purchase goods/services as needed. I'd hate to see the board members each get themselves each a new luxury car to attend their meetings to get more money.
  21. They can't stop you.
