  1. Only if Peterborough was a bit closer. Or if cancast were in Toronto Sportsman Show, then I'd go.
  2. I've had my fill at the Fort Erie one. Thanks for the report.
  3. There was more trees there and and fairly solid ground to walk all the way over to the east, where the outlet was. Most of the time the outlet sits in the middle. Not sure if the far end is closed off completely. Its the foliage roots that hold the ground together to prevent erosion. What's next? As costly a concrete/stone wall to preserve the pond? Or leave it as is? That pond is shallow enough. Last fall it looked like 3 ft of water on top of 3 ft of muck (like Jordan Harbor).
  4. During my usual morning drive, I periodically check here to see the ever changing forms this berm is taking. Today most of it is under water, but also looks as if the waves have pushed a small section further in south (this morning). What were they hoping to accomplish when they had construction machinery I believe two years ago digging up the brush?
  5. No. I did not want the large jointed ones. More like OF9, 11, 13. I may have missed them. Just showing the colour era I like.
  6. Some more affordable prices on Rapalas for sure compared to big box stores. I was looking for the old Perch Rapala colour that was more darker green/orange in the floating models.
  7. It was ok. Is this the usual amount of vendors? through out the years? I was only looking out for something odd. I ended up buying a Japanese Nories light crank bait that looks like a bug or something. Unique. I can see rock bass and smallmouth liking this.
  8. Franchised repairs are motivated to sell parts/labor for extra commission. They like to scare you with the worst case scenarios hoping you'll bite. Best to stay loyal to your trusted mechanic who will also be more honest on what you need now and what could wait.
  9. Many only have those overpriced vehicles because the banks were loose with financing criteria. Most likely truck poor. New and used are equally over prices as high as the interest rates. If your van isn't giving you trouble, best to keep it going. $1000 for brakes and front end work? That sound like a franchise price.
  10. Ok. With rising costs, free parking will be welcomed.
  11. My little monsters don't like cameras, so you have to sneak up on them.
  12. Lots of good music out there depending on mood time and place. Been liking the "new retro wave". Modern bands with 1980s sounds. Also some country (89.1 fm from Welland) and related type music. Especially country type music from around the world.
  13. I'd rather go pre-2011 for another car/truck. Too much glitzy tech and complications on new vehicles.
  14. I am interested in attending. I see it is $5 admission. Parking is free? I have to ask because sometimes its a last minute hook.
