You mean it's a pain in the a$$ getting old ?  lol But on the other hand I'm lucky to be here at 80 and still being able to fish locally .
BTW , my female god is also 80

My little monsters don't like cameras, so you have to sneak up on them.

We have two pets Casey and Becky

Casey was diagnosed at one year old with degenerated hips. He was treated at Canine Conditioning Center in St. Catharines before and after hip replacement  surgery. One hip was replaced and on the other there wasn't enough hip bone for a sockets to be implanted so they cut off the head of the femur and let it develop a false hip. As you can see from the three panel photo below the surgery and the therapy was a success. Canine Conditioning paid a professional photographer for these photos to use them in their promotional  literature and gave us a copy.

He likes to pick up sticks on his walks (second photo set). When he relaxes he really relaxes (third photo). But he does get bored easily (fourth photo).

Becky is our American tabby She likes lounging around and avoiding getting trampled by Casey.

I have posted a couple of sunset pics before that I got from my daughter who lives at Consecon , just south of Trenton .
The great sunsets do not stop during the winter there , hence it's called Sunset Bay .
One of the guys was fishing Wellers Bay in front of her trailer and caught 3 pike and some perch today ....dinner for tomorrow .
She uses an older Canon pocket camera that still takes great photos , and she is very good at composing her pictures .
This is today's sunset which is on my new desktop .....maybe it will glow in the dark .....

We had a right pleasant day at the NFTS.  Lots of people.  Even better to see some very familiar, and new, faces during the day.  Thank you to all who came out and supported us.

I use an Eskimo quick fish 3 and it takes me only a minute to set it up. I had a smaller one but prefer the extra room for two rods and an extra hole for the sonar. Lots of room for the heater and to stand and stretch. It’s nice to have the extra room if I want to invite a friend into a warm tent.

I will be heading up to a cottage this Saturday with the family.
The place is called Opeongo Mountain Resort, on Lake Clear,  in a town called Eganville, near Renfrew.
Never been there, but we have been to the area several times.
The lake has all the species I typically target.
Also, the cottage has satellite and air, to keep the family happy!
Hopefully I got some good pics to show off when I get back!

We have a young fox in our neighbourhood.  Saw it trotting down sidewalk twice in a week during the day.
i like seeing them around because I know there won’t be any mice around with the fox present.
People need to learn that cats are INDOOR pets, and should NOT BE LET OUTSIDE because they kill for fun, and kill far more small birds and animals than a fox!

Fishing the past month has been great for chasing pannies. Lots of big perch, gills and crappie in the 12Mile and Welland systems. The bass had to keep after getting the hook caught in his gills.
