Have a family cottage on lake Kipawa, heading up on the first, fishing usually really good in June ,the slot size has really helped walleye fishing.

I just watched a vid. on Y.Tube , an interview with my grand daughter about her involvement with the environment . She is the co-ordinator /environmental technician  with the Friends of fort Erie Creeks , & involved with the Friends of ft.Erie . Brie Smalldon is 40 yrs old & has a 6 yr. old daughter "Meadow" . She is well versed in environment matters & also has written a book for children with illustrations about things like what critters lurk in our back yards , leaving dandelions & leaves on the grass etc . & the book "It's Spring, It's Spring ! " is being sold now.
The video is 1 hr. and her interviewer was a great host who had a great time with Brie . Needless to say we are proud of her accomplishments . She grew up in Hudson , Quebec & traveled to B.C. to be with her birth mother Dee , who is a member here , now living near Trenton . Brie lives in Ft.Erie .

Hopefully this is a wake up call for people that support Carbon Tax and do not support Canadian oil production and the associated pipelines required to move it.
Oil is required by us and the rest of the world whether you personally like it or not. Better that it be produced by stable countries especially our own country and being able to benefit economically ourselves.
 
The end game of the carbon tax is to raise energy prices to the point where it will force people to alternatives. Take the subway, maybe if you live in Toronto, but that option doesn't work for 90% of Canada geographically? Electric cars, sounds good in theory but practical and affordable for few.

My son and I tried Ramey's last evening from about 5:30-7:00 and were completely skunked. Some loose schools of baitfish came through but didn't stick around too much. On my camera I think I saw only shiners. 
 
Lots of twix and mountain dew consumed..... so still successful as far as my son is concerned.

I think in the case of using winter tires,it's not the going that's the problem ,it's more the stopping control that u get with snows. Never know when evasive action is called for. This is when snows shine
